At Wild Heart Ranch, our goal is to offer a one-of-a-kind experience through adventure and storytelling. It is an immersive experience you live in.

Wild Heart Ranch has two separate listings: The Ranch (which includes the immersive experience)
and the Pink Cabin (a great getaway for a couple or solo traveler).
Wild Heart Ranch was founded by Blake and Bea Hodges-Koch in 2020. Thomas Meston is a key team member as technical director and creative partner.
Our Story
Blake and Bea Hodges-Koch took their first ever trip together as a couple to Joshua Tree. They fell in love, not just with each other, but with this place. Shortly thereafter, they had purchased what has become Wild Heart Ranch, moving their lives there in Summer 2019.
Blake comes from a background in video production, but in recent years has shifted work to his passion in immersive experiences, along with creative partner Thomas Meston. Blake and Thomas, inspired by companies like Meow Wolf and their love of escape rooms and puzzle-adventure video games, created immersive experiences with various wonderful partners starting in 2018.
With the arrival of the global pandemic of 2020, Blake and Thomas had the perfect opportunity to embark on their most ambitious project yet: Wild Heart Ranch.
As fans of immersive experiences, escape rooms, amazing vacation homes, and the desert, we wanted to merge all of our passions into a place and experience that speaks to others as much as it does to us.
